prerequisites   complex calculus, linear algebra, integrals,
MATLAB programming skills are helpful
objective   Students shall get a sound theoretical and practical understanding of continuous and discrete signal analysis in time and frequency domain.

Introduction, Mathematical Background, Systems & Signals, Fourier Series, Delta Functions, Convolution, Fourier Transform, LTI Systems, Discrete Time Signal Processing, Random Signals, Signal Reconstruction, Interpolation, Multidimensional Systems Theory

Contents of the lab exercises
1. All major lecture topics are practised in dedicated written exercises. Problems are solved as homework, solutions are presented in course.
2. Signal processing lab exercise with MATLAB
literature   Lecture notes. Recommendations of relevant literature will be given.
