Particle impact studies for industry and academia. Development of electrothermal and plasmadynamic particle accelerators for micrometeoroid and space debris simulation. Development of hypervelocity plasma pulse sources for material surface coating and modification applications. Development of a dust desagglomeration device. Technical support on the development of a light-weight sensor box for the Munich Dust Counter experiment. Co-investigator for Columbus proto-planetesimal dust aggregation experiment CODAG. Development of plasma sources for the generation of nano-particles. Co-investigator for the ISS based scientific program ICAPS (Interactions in Cosmic and Atmospheric Particle Systems).
