biography:
Dr. Bugliaro joined DLR in 2000 where he first worked on the determination of ultraviolet surface radiation from satellite data before focusing on cloud remote sensing with the MSG/SEVIRI instrument and one dimensional radiative transfer. Prior to his DLR appointment he was a PostDoc at the University of Regensburg, Germany in the field of mathematical physics. He was awarded his PhD in theoretical physics at ETH Zurich, Switzerland in 1998.
