current position

PhD student of IGSSE (International Graduate School of Science and Engineering) at the TUM in the project CLIVAR-Hydro (Signals of Climate Variability in Continental Hydrology)

field of work

Determination of snow water equivalent and soil moisture by means of remote sensing and in-situ measurements. The observed variations are compared to mass changes measured by the gravity-field mission GRACE.

biography

2004 - 2007 International Bachelor program “Environmental and Resource Management” at Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus

2007 - 2010 International Master program “Earth Oriented Space Science and Technology” at the Technische Universität München
