Tuition fees:
The TUM is a German state university financed by taxes. Currently, the TUM charges a tuition fee of 500 EUR per semester for all courses offered there. Additionally, there is an enrollment fee of 42 EUR. Each student has to pay 542 EUR total per semester.
More detailed information on the TUM tuition fees can be found at this link.

Housing and living:
The ESPACE program is not responsible for student housing and living. Rather, students themselves are responsible for finding a place to live before arriving here. The Center of International Affairs at the TUM and Munich's Studentenwerk (Office of Students Services) offer students support with this as well. Unfortunately, due to limited capacities in the student residences in Munich, there is no guarantee to get a student apartment. Living in Munich is not cheap: you may need up to 600 EUR per month or more for rent (depending on accommodation).
The Office of International Affairs and the Studentenwerk offer an all-inclusive service package for international students, which includes accommodation in one of the Studentenwerk's dormitories, free access to the Studentenwerk's libraries, and invitations to various cultural events. ESPACE and other English-speaking master's programs at the TUM are however given a very limited amount of service packages (i.e. 2 to 3). Therefore there is no guarantee for accomodation via the so-called Service-Packet. Admitted students are sent more information about this in the summer and the spots for a service package are given on a first-come, first serve basis!
Students are therefore encouraged to start their housing search as soon as they are admitted to the program!
TUM's Center of International Affairs Orientation month:
The Center of International Affairs offers an orientation month at the beginning of each semester. This includes walks to public authorities etc. For more information please check the information for international students
