The system is open until March 15, 2013 (non EU citizens) and until May 31, 2013 (EU citizens). To send in an application for ESPACE, please continue to TUMOnline.

Special process for APS Certificates
This year Chinese applicants can obtain APS Certificate in a special process initiated by APS and TUM. A registration at the APS before January 1, 2013 is required. More information can be found here (in Chinese).

Clearest evidence yet of ice losses
An international team of experts among others researchers at IAPG has presented a new estimate of ice sheet mass balance based on Earth observation satellite data. This study shows that the combined ice sheet rate melting is increasing. See ESA News (english) and TUM Pressemitteilung (german) for more information.

EU Blue Card
...is now available for non-EU citizens seeking long-term work visas or residence in Germany. Foreign graduates can also now more easily obtain work permits here upon completing their ESPACE studies. For more information, please click here.
ESPACE student invited to give presentation on satellites and their applications in Bolivia

ESPACE Program Director appointed new Director of German Geodetic Research Institute (DGFI)
Prof. Dr. Florian Seitz, ESPACE Program Director from 2009-2012, has been appointed full Professor for Geodetic Geodynamics at the TUM and new Director of the German Geodetic Research Institute (DGFI) from August 1, 2012.
